Wildway Overlook Trail
Description: An easy yet very rewarding hike with views of Lake Champlain, the Champlain Valley, and the Green Mountains of Vermont across the lake. This trail is a relatively easy climb to a fabulous view of the Split Rock Wildway wildlife corridor, which connects Lake Champlain to the Adirondack Mountains.
Great Walls of Brookfield: Not only is this relatively level trail a great connector between the popular route to the summit of Wildway Overlook and the Shirley Trail, but allows for a beautiful walk through woods with many magnificent intact rock walls that remind us that this all was pasture land in the nineteenth century.
