Intern with CATS this Summer!

Champlain Area Trails Seeks Two Summer Land Steward Interns.

Our internships are a great boost for developing careers in conservation. In fact, CATS' past interns are the next generation of conservation leaders at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Essex County, Adirondack Mountain Club, and Essex County Soil and Water Conservation District.

The Summer Land Stewardship Interns will maintain and create our hiking & skiing trails, help manage CATS’s nature preserves, work with volunteers, participate in outdoor education, interact with landowners, and participate in community affairs. This full-time, paid seasonal position is paid at $1,320 biweekly ($16.50/ hourly rate), and housing is provided at DaCy Meadow Farm in Westport, NY.
