
Join Champlain Area Trails on Saturday, March 8th, at 9:00 AM for our second Saturday volunteer project on the Wildway Overlook Trail in Essex, New York. This event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community while helping to develop the scenic trails in our area!

What: Volunteer Trail Building Project
When: Saturday, March 8th, 9:00 AM
Where: Wildway Overlook Trail, Essex, NY
This next session on our new connector trail will focus on connecting lower Brookfield Road to the Boquet Mountain Trail systems, opening up a scenic old road. Activities will include trail building, lopping, clearing brush, and handsawing, with tasks varying based on weather conditions. Expect to walk approximately 2 miles during the event.
What to Bring: Participants are encouraged to bring gloves, protective eyewear (if using a string trimmer), water, and snacks. While Champlain Area Trails will provide tools such as loppers, hand saws, and string trimmers, feel free to bring any additional tools you may have.

Registration: Please register by 6:00 PM the day before the event by emailing tony@champlainareatrails.com. If you cannot register in advance, feel free to join us on Saturday at 9:00 AM.
