Join CATSWomen, a volunteer-led group dedicated to empowering women of all ages and abilities, for a scenic hike in the stunning Pharaoh Lakes Wilderness in Ticonderoga, New York. This welcoming environment is perfect for building friendships and enhancing outdoor skills and is supported by Champlain Area trails.
Event Details:
- Hike Location: Out-and-back lollipop trail in Pharaoh Lakes Wilderness on the Lost Pond Trail
- Trail Distance: 3.5 miles
- Difficulty Level: Easy-Moderate (with 347 feet of elevation gain)
- Estimate Duration: Approximately 3 hours
Hiking Experience:
Enjoy a beautiful winter walk through a serene forest leading to a picturesque pond. As you trek, keep an eye out for fascinating animal tracks along the trail.

- Meeting Time: Arrive at the trailhead by 9:45 AM for a prompt 10:00 AM start.
What to Bring:
Prepare for the winter conditions by bringing the following essentials:

- Snowshoes if snow depth exceeds 8 inches
- Plenty of water
- Snacks or a packed lunch
