Join Champlain Area Trails for a free beginner cross-country ski lesson on Wednesday, February 19th, from 1 PM to 3 PM at Cadyville Recreation Park! This exciting event is a fantastic opportunity to learn essential skiing techniques in a friendly, supportive environment.
In collaboration with the Plattsburgh Parks & Recreation Department, we are offering two complimentary introductory cross-country skiing workshops throughout February. Whether you’re completely new to skiing or looking to refine your skills, this class is perfect for you! Our sessions are family-friendly and suitable for participants aged 5 and up.
What You Need to Know:
- Date and Time: February 19th, 1 PM - 3 PM
- Location: Cadyville Recreation Park, 114 Goddeau Rd, Cadyville, NY.
- Equipment: Skiing equipment will be provided, but early registration is encouraged due to limited availability. You’re welcome to bring your own gear if you have it.
Preparation Tips:
- Dress in good winter layers suitable for physical activity. February can be chilly, but you'll warm up while skiing. We recommend wicking shirts or wool base layers.
- Don’t forget your hat and gloves, and bring plenty of water to stay hydrated.
