Second Saturday Volunteer Project @ Eddy Trail

CHAMPLAIN AREA TRAILS has A second saturday Volunteer project on the eddy trail ON Saturday, december 14th AT 9:00 AM.

Join Champlain Area Trails in finishing up the Eddy Trail in Whallonsburg, New York. This trail has a new connector piece to Whallonsburg. We will target several projects, including clearing large branches from the trail, building a small bridge at the start of the trail, and putting the finishing touches on this great connector trail. This is a beautiful trail in central Whallonsburg, and we look forward to your help fixing it up for the community. After the hike, you can swing by the Whallonsburg Grange to check out the holiday market.

WHAT TO BRING: We will work with loppers, hand saws, and string trimmers, which Champlain Area Trails can provide. Feel free to bring your tools as well. Make sure to bring gloves, protective eye gear (if using a string trimmer), water, and some snacks!

REGISTRATION: Please register by 6:00 p.m. the day before the event by emailing tony@champlainareatrails.com, but it's also okay to meet us there on Saturday at 9:00 a.m.
