Friday Working Hike @ Lonely Hill Trail

CHAMPLAIN AREA TRAILS has A Friday WORKING HIKE on THE lonely hill trail ON November 1st AT 9 AM.

Join Champlain Area Trails in working on this 1.1-mile loop trail in Lewis, New York. We will be working on this relatively level trail through mostly conifer forest in a low area near McCrea Swamp. It has a small hill that seems to rise out of nowhere - we’ve named it Lonely Hill!  This is an easy hike. 

WHAT TO BRING: We will work with loppers, hand saws, and string trimmers, which Champlain Area Trails can provide. Feel free to bring your tools as well.  Make sure to bring gloves, protective eye gear (if using a string trimmer), water, and some snacks!

DIRECTIONS:  Find this trailhead on Hyde Rd 0.2 mi east of Wadhams-Lewis Rd. Click here for Google Map directions. 

REGISTRATION: Please register by 6:00 p.m. the day before the event by emailing tony@champlainareatrails.com, but it's also okay to meet us there Friday at 9:00 a.m.
