Come one, come all! Enjoy the last of the fall colors with a guided hike up Payne Mountain at Twin Valleys. This is a 3.5-mile new trail that leads to a gorgeous open summit with views of Lake Champlain as well as the High Peaks. The elevation gain is around 800 feet. The hike is fairly moderate and not too steep, making the summit's views even more remarkable. This is a moderately challenging hike.
TIME: Meet at the trailhead at 9:45 am for a 10:00 am start. This hike should take about 3 hours.
WHAT TO BRING: Dress in good layers for hiking, hiking shoes, and bring snacks and plenty of water.
