Join Champlain Area Trails in working on this 2.4-mile looped trail system in Willsboro, New York. This forest walk on Willsboro Point leads through a short thicket and into open, mature woods. Wildlife here is abundant, and walkers can expect to see and hear deer, birds, and other wildlife. With two main nodes off of the lead-in trail, this quick, easy hike is a perfect quick woods retreat. This is an easy hike.
WHAT TO BRING: We will work with loppers, hand saws, and string trimmers, which Champlain Area Trails can provide. Feel free to bring your tools as well. Make sure to bring gloves, protective eye gear (if using a string trimmer), water, and some snacks!
