CATSWomen is a volunteer-led group that offers a welcoming environment for women of all ages and abilities to gain confidence in the outdoors through Champlain Area Trails.
Check out this 3.5-mile trail to a beautiful summit in the heart of the Adirondacks. The trail is a moderately difficult hike that gains 1,300 feet of elevation. Hike uphill through the forest to a rocky ledge with an incredible view of the area and Whiteface Mountain.
TIME: Meet at the trailhead at 8:45 am. This hike should take about 3-4 hours.
WHAT TO BRING: Dress in clothing that is protective and wicking for the summer heat for hiking. Remember to bring snacks and water!
