JOIN US FOR A CATSWOMEN HIKE OF Payne Mountain ON thursday, february 1st, AT 9:45 AM.

  

CATSWomen is a volunteer-led group that offers a welcoming environment for women of all ages and abilities to gain confidence in the outdoors through Champlain Area Trails.

  

Check out this 5-mile loop trail to a stunning view on top of Payne Mountain. 

  

This is a new trail that leads to a gorgeous open summit with views of Lake Champlain as well as the High Peaks. The elevation gain is around 800 feet. The hike is fairly moderate and not too steep, making the summit's views even more remarkable. This is a lovely winter hike! 

  

This hike should take about 3 hours. Dress in good layers for hiking, and bring hats and mittens/gloves. Remember to bring snacks and water! Snowshoes are needed for this hike.
