Viall’s Crossing Trail

   

Description: There are a network of trails that veer off of the main trail (Viall's Crossing), which includes the John Brown, Harold's Oak, and Hemlock Hill paths. There are some steep sections, but for the most part, the trails cover mostly rolling terrain. There is a mixture of fields and forests, with some small rocky knolls throughout the system.

Trailhead on Rt 22 in woods west of RR tracks halfway between Westport and Wadhams
