McAuliffe Road Trail 

     

Description: This is an easy hike along an abandoned road. The route begins at the top of a deep gorge, with the Boquet River below. There is a side path from the parking area to a swimming hole below a series of waterfalls. The route passes through forests, pastures, and a collapsing barn, before it reaches a gate, then rejoins the river in Willsboro.

Find the north trailhead near McAuliffe Rd. and Sunset Dr.

Find the south trailhead on Jersey St., just west of the Boquet River.
