Florence Hathaway Nature Trail & Sophie's Lair

   

Description: The Florence Hathaway and Sophie's Lair trail system is a medium-length forested walk that goes through various terrain, including brief wooded grasslands, open hardwood forest with lots of young growth, and dense thicket. The trail is great for birding and other wildlife viewing and is especially used in the winter for cross-country skiing. There is a shortcut option that cuts the Sophie's Lair loop down by almost a mile, giving options for distance and environment.
