Eagle Mountain Preserve - Benny's Trail

**Our brief period of enjoying a dry walk to Clear Pond has come to an end.  The beavers have returned to the first stream crossing, and are earnestly building a new network of dams, which is making the walk to Clear Pond a wet one.  Expect knee-deep water at the 1/2 mile mark.**

Description: Benny's Trail is a five-mile round trip route that follows an old woods road to a pristine pond.  There has been a lot of beaver activity on this trail in the last two years, so be aware that some sections of the trail face potential flooding.  As of the spring of 2024, the trail is dry and free of any beaver-related flooding.
