Arin is a passionate outdoor enthusiast with a profound love for the Adirondacks, developed through a lifetime of hiking, mountain biking, and embracing the region's natural beauty. With over 25 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, she is stepping into the role of Executive Director for Champlain Area Trails (CATS).
As a strong advocate for community involvement, Arin holds several leadership positions, including President of the Board for the Substance Abuse Prevention Team of Essex County and a member of the Elizabethtown Advisory Committee. Her extensive background also includes serving as the Managing Director at the North Country Women’s Center and numerous volunteer leadership roles, including the BEK1ND Foundation.
In her personal life, Arin cherishes time spent with family, focusing on creating meaningful memories with her loved ones. She and her family have been proud residents of the Champlain Valley for 25 years, with deep-rooted ties in the area that extend back generations.
Arin succeeds Chris Maron, the founding Executive Director of CATS, who retired in 2024. Arin will begin her work with CATS in early January, with a full-time transition starting on March 1.
