Dave is a Board member of the Long Pond Conservancy (LPC) and acts as a liaison between CATS and LPC.
Dave attended McGill University, where he received his B.A. in European History. He currently serves as the Executive Director for Camp Pok-o-MacCready, located on Long Pond in Willsboro, NY. He first became connected with Pok-o as a camper in 1990 and has since had experience there as a counselor, section head, Assistant Director, and Director of Outdoor Education.
Dave is an outdoor educator and mentor. He has led multi-week wilderness trips for the National Outdoor Leadership School, Kroka Expeditions, and St. Lawrence University.
In his free time, Dave enjoys exploring the Adirondacks and spending time with his partner, Tess, and their son, River. He has become a 46er in the summer and winter months, hiked the Northville-Placid Trail, and paddled most of the whitewater in the eastern portion of the Adirondacks. More recently, he has started to focus on getting to know the CATS trails.
