Torey Patenaude

Community Engagement & Outreach Manager

Meet Torey, the newest team member at CATS, who joined us in 2023. Torey is a passionate community leader with extensive experience in outdoor recreation and volunteer management. She grew up in Keene Valley and has lived in Iceland and Utah, where she further developed her love for the outdoors. Torey enjoys rock climbing, trail running, and Nordic skiing.

  

Torey holds a bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence University and is completing her master's at the University of Akureyri in Iceland. She has managed volunteer teams and developed outdoor programming curricula. Torey is skilled in community engagement and has organized significant events that unite people around shared interests in the outdoors. She loves coaching and coordinating volunteer efforts to connect people from diverse backgrounds to fun and engaging activities in nature.

  

Her favorite CATS Trails is the North Boquet Summit Trail.
