Torey Patenaude

Community Engagement & Outreach Manager

Torey joined our team in 2023 and brings with her a wealth of experience in outdoor recreation and volunteer management. Growing up in Keene Valley and having lived in Iceland and Utah, she has cultivated a deep passion for the great outdoors. Torey is an avid rock climber, trail runner, and Nordic skier.

She holds a bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence University and a master's degree from the University of Akureyri in Iceland. With her expertise in managing volunteer teams and designing outdoor programming curricula, Torey excels in community engagement. She has successfully organized major events that connect individuals through shared outdoor interests.

Torey loves coaching and fostering volunteer initiatives that bring together people from diverse backgrounds for enjoyable and engaging experiences in nature. Her favorite CATS trail is the Flying Squirrel Trail.
