Are you looking for an outdoor adventure while giving back to the community? Join Champlain Area Trails for a Friday Working Hike on the Eddy Trail. This is considered an easy trail, consisting of some modest changes in elevation, passing through lush, mature forest and under some imposing ledges. Expect to walk up to 2 miles.
During this working hike, we will engage in trail maintenance activities such as improving trail tread with pickaxes and shovels, lopping, hand-sawing, and cleaning up the trail, making it safer and more enjoyable for all hikers. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, meet fellow outdoor enthusiasts, and contribute to preserving this fantastic community trail.
