CATSWomen @ Hopkins Mountain via Mossy Cascade

THIS HIKE WAS RESCHEDULED FROM AUGUST 20TH.

CATSWomen is a volunteer-led hiking group. This group of women - of all ages and abilities! - creates a safe and encouraging space for female hikers to become more confident in their outdoor adventuring.

A great hike in the Giant Mountain Wilderness area features a steady climb through a beautiful pine forest with multiple stream crossings and a waterfall to cool off in. Your reward is an amazing view of the High Peaks. The hike is 6.7 miles roundtrip with an elevation gain of 2158’.   We’ll plan on lots of rest stops and splashing in the water to cool off. The anticipated hiking time is 4-1/2 hours.
